GKN Engineering Services maintains a large internal pool of dedicated engineering resources, with skills ranging from project management, analysis and systems modelling, through to CAD design, NC programming and support to manufacturing. These capabilities form an integrated part of the GKNES process that delivers engineered product to customers.

Additionally, the engineering capability is offered to global OEMs as a pure engineering service. A customer service based approach to provision of capability has been central to GKNES success with AgustaWestland, BAE SYSTEMS, EADS Airbus, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Boeing, together with many first and second tier suppliers.

By drawing upon the manufacturing capabilities of its parent company, GKN Aerospace, GKNES can provide a complete design / build service. Typical areas of expertise include metallic, advanced composite, mechanical, flotation, transparency components and nacelle systems.

Provision of integrated engineering solutions involving multiple skill capabilities e.g. design manufacturing engineering in service support.
